Frequently asked questions
Is hosting the same as CAD?
No. CAD runs at respond.criticallops.co.uk on dedicated infrastructure. Web hosting is a separate service on separate servers.
Do you register domains?
Not included by default. Register your domain with any registrar and point the A record to our server IP (we provide this when you sign up). We can advise on DNS setup.
Is VAT charged?
No. Published prices are the price you pay.
Can I use WordPress?
Yes. Business and Pro plans include one-click WordPress installation. Starter plans can install WordPress manually.
What about backups?
We run automated backups (weekly on Starter, daily on Business/Pro). You should still keep your own copies of important content. See our Terms.
How do I cancel?
Email contact@criticallops.co.uk with 30 days’ notice. Export your site before closure.
How do I get support?
Email contact@criticallops.co.uk. Pro plans include priority response. See Support.
