These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of web hosting services
provided by CritiCall Ops Ltd (company number 17364960) of 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA
(“we”, “us”). Contact:
contact@criticallops.co.uk.
These Terms apply only to web hosting at hosting.criticallops.co.uk and related infrastructure.
CritiCall Ops CAD/MDT software is governed separately at
criticallops.co.uk/terms.html.
1. Services
We provide shared web hosting including website storage, bandwidth, PHP, MySQL databases, email accounts (where included in your plan), SSL certificates, and backups as described on our pricing page. Domain registration is not included unless agreed in writing.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate contact and billing information.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
- You must be 18+ or have authority to bind your organisation.
- One hosting account per customer organisation unless we agree otherwise.
3. Fees and payment
Fees are as published on our website at the time you order. Prices are in GBP. No VAT is charged. Monthly plans renew each month; annual plans renew each year unless cancelled. We may change prices for future renewal periods with at least 30 days’ notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.
4. Acceptable use
You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate service immediately for material breach, illegal content, abuse, or risk to our infrastructure or other customers.
5. Content and data
You retain ownership of your website content. You grant us a licence to host, back up, and transmit it as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content you upload and for compliance with applicable law (including medical, security-sector, and privacy requirements).
6. Backups and availability
We perform automated backups as described for your plan. Backups are a convenience, not a guarantee. You should maintain your own copies of important data. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance will be announced where practicable.
7. Support
Support is provided by email during UK business hours unless your plan includes priority support. We do not provide unlimited custom development or third-party software support unless agreed separately.
8. Suspension and termination
You may cancel by giving 30 days’ written notice (email suffices). We may terminate for non-payment, breach, or if we discontinue the service (with reasonable notice). On termination, you should export your data; we may delete hosted content after 30 days unless law requires retention.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss of profits, data, or business. Our total liability for any claim relating to hosting in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for hosting in that period. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is invalid, the remainder continues in effect. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
